Hello

I'm Diana, and I organize the Bullhead City Pack Walks. You can use this website to easily reserve your spot for our walks on MeetUp, and also find all the information you need about our community.

My Story

Before I moved to Bullhead City, I spent countless hours driving two hours each week to participate in pack walks. I trained my dog alongside an organization that trains and provides service dogs to Veterans for suicide prevention and PTSD. These walks were incredibly beneficial for socializing my 3 - year old reactive Pit Bull Mix in a safe and structured environment. That's when the idea clicked! I realized I needed to build a supportive community here for like-minded dog enthusiasts, and that's how Bullhead City Pack Walk came to be.

You should know that while our walks begin with 20 minutes of obedience training, I am not, nor do I claim to be, a dog trainer. My passion comes from a deeper place, being an owner of a reactive dog. Even with all her training, there are still times when I feel frustrated and wish I could trade her in for a calmer, more easy-going dog. But then I remember the day we bought her home from the streets of Mexico, and the commitment we made to give her a better life. I realize that owing a challenging dog is part of that commitment, for better or worse. Despite the challenges, I have learned so much about myself through this dog. She has taught me patience, forgivingness and unconditional love. She has also shown me the importance of being a responsible and dedicated pet owner.

Strong leadership builds stronger bonds with our dogs.
