What to know before joining
Bullhead City Pack Walk
First things first
Bullhead City Pack Walk is a structured, community-based walk designed to help dogs and their owners learn how to exist calmly around others in a real-world environment.
This isn’t a dog park.
This isn’t a free-for-all.
It’s intentional.
Our goal
We’re here to create:
-
Calm behavior around other dogs
-
Confident, capable handlers
-
A low-pressure, community-based environment
This is a space where both you and your dog can learn - without judgment.
What to expect
-
Dogs remain on leash at all times
-
We walk together as a group
-
There is no socializing between dogs during the walk
-
We focus on calm, neutral behavior
-
Owners are responsible for handling their own dog
Guidelines that make this work
These aren’t rules for the sake of rules - they’re what allow the group to stay calm, safe, and successful.
-
Maintain space between dogs (about 6 feet or more)
-
No touching, talking to, or making eye contact with other dogs
-
No retractable leashes
-
Stay aware of your dog and your surroundings
-
Follow the flow of the group
Is this for you?
This walk is a great fit if:
-
You’re open to structure and guidance
-
You want your dog to improve around other dogs
-
You’re willing to be consistent and accountable
-
You’re looking for a calm, supportive environment
Important to know
-
Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations
-
If your dog needs additional management (distance, tools, etc.), that’s okay - just come prepared
-
This is not a training class, but you may pick up tools along the way.
A quick note
No one shows up perfect.
Many of us are here because we have dogs that challenge us.
This space exists so you don’t have to navigate that alone.
