With only weeks to prepare, what began as a simple idea became an overwhelming success. On September 27, more than 180 people—families, friends, veterans, dog owners, and community members—came together to walk in unity and purpose.
Watching so many faces gathered for a cause greater than ourselves was powerful proof that hope and healing grow when we stand together.
This event was never meant to be just another walk. It was built on connection, compassion, and community. We partnered with more than 35 vendors, each offering tools, resources, and support for individuals and families navigating mental health challenges. From full wellness center activities to dog training demonstrations and family-friendly fun, the event created a safe space for dialogue, healing, and solidarity.
We 're Honored to Feature:
The City of Bullhead – Our main sponsor, generously providing the venue that made this gathering possible.
Mohave Valley High School ROTC – Our presenting color guard, who led the Pledge of Allegiance with dignity and pride.
Pastor Bill Jones – For sharing words of faith, strength, and encouragement.
Combat Veterans – Who rode in an Honor Ride around Rotary Park, offering a powerful tribute to those affected by PTSD.
Every Step Meant Something
Your presence, your energy, and your support made this day more meaningful than we ever imagined. Because of our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and every person who showed up, we were able to raise funds, spread awareness, and create meaningful connections that will ripple throughout the community.
More than just money, what we gained was resilience, hope, and visibility for mental health struggles that are often hidden.
A Heartfelt Thank You
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you:
To our sponsors, for believing in this mission and making it possible
To our vendors, for bringing purpose, resources, and support to every corner
To our volunteers, for your time, care, and tireless energy
To our community, for showing up, sharing your stories, and walking side by side
To our media coverage, Mohave Pictures and Corinne Goodban Photography, for capturing the heart of this event
Each of you helped transform a simple walk into a powerful statement: That PTSD and suicide cannot be ignored. That healing begins with connection.
Let’s carry this spirit forward—into tomorrow, into the next week, into the next walk—and beyond. Together, we are building a community where no one walks alone.
